In the builder's tool kit, you will need:

• 16-28 oz. hammer (depending on your skill, usually choose the lighter hammer. Choose a waffle head [prevents nail deflection] or flat head [non-marring])
• rubber mallet (a plastic hammer is O.K.)
• chalk line
• wrecking bar
• screwdriver
• measuring tape (25 ft. [7.5 m])
• utility knife (with replacement blades, hook style too)
• prybar (cats paw style)
• goggles or glasses
• gloves
