Ismael Rosales

The principal publisher and designer, Ismael Rosales, has fifteen years of experience pursuing environmental, ecological, and practical solutions to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions from the generation of electricity, manufacturing, heating, and transportation. With both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in mechanical engineering from Stanford University, he performed his primary research at the High Temperature Gas Dynamics Laboratory studying the chemical kinetics of pollution formation, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics. He is conversant in the language of construction, other engineers, architects, federal and state agencies, local and private utilities, contractors, and homeowners.

Likewise, working on the Macintosh has been a lifelong pursuit using QuicktimeVR tools like PhotoVista, spreadsheets like AppleWorks and Excel, web site design tools like Dreamweaver and GoLive, Photoshop, Illustrator, security tools like PGP, video tools like Final Cut Pro, AfterEffects, and Combustion, document creation tools like FrameMaker and WordPerfect, and architectural drawing tools like VectorWorks.

Mr. Rosales is an Apple Certified Technical Coordinator, expressing the knowledge required to configure and enable key services and perform basic troubleshooting of essential Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server capabilities. He is also a Apple Products Professional in the Apple Sales Training program.
