applications have been developed to tap into the powers of interactive
media creation. Some required proprietary player engines, while others
deployed to industry standard components. Here is a sample of what is

Hip LiveStage
For $199 LiveStage delivers a fully developed scripting environment to
tap into the majority of the QuickTime 3.0 power. In plans for Macworld
NY 1999 is a release of LiveStage Pro to fully enable QuickTime 4.0 streaming
control.
Electrifier Electrifier Pro
At $595 Electrifier Pro adds a graphical interface to some sophisticated
QuickTime 3.0 interaction. Soon Electrifier 2.0 will fully support QuickTime
4.0 media.
Apple Computer HyperCard
The venerable $99 authoring environment still has some gas left to tap
into QuickTime 3.0 capabilities New features in HyperCard 3.0 may be
announced soon.
Tribeworks iShell
A free interactive media tool, though if required costs $2000 for
support and SDK, which supports many QuickTime 3.0 media elements and
taps into the low level Qcode.
